Daniel Jones, Partner in our Family Law team, primarily works from our Liverpool and London offices.
Daniel specialises in all aspects of Family Law, including: adoption, Child Abduction, Child Arrangements, Complex contested children matters, Divorce, Dissolution of Civil Partnership, Matrimonial Financial matters, International Children matters, International and internal Relocation of Children, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Special Guardianship, and Unmarried cohabitation disputes.
Daniel has extensive experience in dealing with complex financial matters arising from divorce or the dissolution of a civil partnership, with an emphasis on matters involving business assets and assets abroad. He has undertaken numerous cases dealing with farming matters and routinely represents high-profile and high-net-worth individuals.
Daniel has significant experience in dealing with complex matters concerning the arrangements for children with an international element. He regularly conducts cases involving the application of the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction and permission to remove children from the jurisdiction of England and Wales. As a result, he regularly appears in the High Court.
He also has expertise in dealing with matters involving foreign jurisdictions, particularly in the Middle East, the United States of America and mainland Europe.

- Acted for a mother in court proceedings in respect of children involving extensive abuse of both the mother and the children at the hands of the mother.
