Integrated HR Software
Contracts, policies, absence and employee records in one secure platform, on desktop, laptop or mobile – with optional payroll and health & safety tools. Training and ongoing support included.

Optional, inexpensive, and strongly recommended. Bespoke annual policies from £250 + IPT, covering legal fees, barrister representation, tribunal awards and settlements.
Up and running in three steps
A choice of four packages, suited for every business need.
Every package is priced as a base monthly fee plus a per-employee amount, so you only pay for the workforce you actually have. All packages include a quarterly legal check-up on key developments in employment law, and support that grows as you move up the tiers. Work that falls outside your package is charged at member rates, with a discount of up to 15% on our standard fees.
FirstCall
£100/mo + £4 per employee
For businesses that want a lawyer at the end of the phone. Telephone and email access to our employment team each month, and 5% off legal fees for employment work. No minimum term – just a month’s notice.
Core
£250/mo + £6 per employee
Our most popular package. Your monthly fee covers day-to-day HR support, the review of employment contracts, and advice on performance and general workplace issues – and we begin with an HR Health Check to make sure your policies and procedures are in place. 10% member rate on work outside the package.
Plus
£400/mo + £8 per employee
Our most comprehensive standard package, recommended for businesses with more than 30 employees, including those with in-house HR. Everything in Core, plus a full handbook and policy review that keeps your documentation current as the law changes. 15% member rate.
Enterprise Shield
from £750/mo
For larger organisations, Enterprise Shield replaces the package model with a bespoke offering: a dedicated legal contact who knows your business, on-site visits and training where appropriate, and support with tribunal matters and litigation strategy. Pricing is bespoke, with per-employee rates from £4 that scale down as your workforce grows.
Prices exclude VAT. One-time set-up fee of £350, including software set-up and training. Optional add-on software services (such as payroll and health & safety) are charged separately. Insurance premiums are arranged separately and tailored to your business (bespoke annual policies from £250 + IPT). Core, Plus and Enterprise Shield terms are a minimum of 12 months; FirstCall is a month’s notice.

Insurance-Backed Protection – optional and strongly recommended, available with every package.
We keep our commitments short
Some providers tie employers into contracts of up to five years. ProShield terms are just 12 months – and FirstCall asks for only a month’s notice.
We would rather earn your renewal each year than enforce it. Our aim is a long-term relationship built on the quality, responsiveness and value of our support – not on the length of the paperwork.
Insurance-Backed Protection
Optional. Inexpensive. Strongly recommended.
ProShield goes beyond traditional legal support by giving you the option of insurance-backed protection – and it is an option we recommend to every ProShield client. With the cap on unfair dismissal compensation being removed under the Employment Rights Act 2025, the financial exposure of an employment claim has never been greater. The cost of protecting against it has rarely been smaller.
Bespoke annual policies start from as little as £250 plus Insurance Premium Tax – a fraction of the cost of defending even a straightforward claim. Where cover is in place, the policy will cover your legal fees incurred in defending claims, barrister representation at Tribunal hearings, compensation awards, and, where applicable, adverse costs in the unlikely event that an order is made against you.
Cover is easy to put in place, with minimal bureaucracy, arranged through a highly reputable insurer, with each policy tailored to your business.
What the cover can include:
- Our solicitor legal fees
- Barrister legal fees
- Tribunal awards
- Dispute settlements
Ask us about adding insurance-backed protection when you choose your package – we will arrange a quotation tailored to your business.
HR software that does the admin, so you can run the business
Contracts, policies, holiday and sickness records, employee files – all in one secure platform your whole team can use, on desktop or mobile. Keeping documentation current is also a compliance advantage under the new legislation. Optional add-ons cover payroll and health & safety. Training and ongoing support are included in your package.
The biggest shake-up of UK employment law in a generation
The Employment Rights Act 2025 received Royal Assent in December 2025. Its changes arrive in waves through 2026 and 2027 – and many of the contracts, policies and habits that served employers well are about to change dramatically. This includes:
- Day-one rights – key protections apply from an employee’s first day.
- Qualifying period for unfair dismissal claims will now be available after six months.
- Uncapped compensation – the cap on unfair dismissal awards is being removed, materially increasing the financial exposure of every dismissal decision.
- New rules on zero-hours contracts and fire-and-rehire – with guaranteed-hours obligations and tighter restrictions on varying terms.
- A new enforcement body – the Fair Work Agency, with the power to act against non-compliant employers.
You don’t need to memorise the timetable for when changes are being introduced. You need someone who has – and who keeps your business on the right side of every deadline. That’s ProShield.
