Prosperity Law has been recognised as one of the leading firms of solicitors in the North West region, in The Legal 500, for their work in Commercial Litigation and Insolvency.
The Legal 500 is an annual guide and directory to UK solicitors, which rates and ranks law firms and recognises excellence in the industry. Prosperity Law has been listed since 2019 for Commercial Litigation, however, this is the first year they have also been acclaimed for their Insolvency department.
The rankings are compiled using client feedback, staff interviews and submissions from legal firms.
Prosperity Law specialises in Commercial Litigation, Insolvency, Property, Planning, Employment and Clinical Negligence work and has offices in Manchester and Liverpool. This recognition comes at a time of growth for the firm as they have been expanding their services and recruiting new talent to join the team.
The Insolvency Team headed by Partner Simon Gerrard were regarded as effective and knowledgable with a strong reputation. The team also includes solicitor Tom McCue and they have recently appointed Olivia Shorrock as a paralegal.

The Commercial Litigation Department was praised for its honesty and quick outcomes. They were described as excellent to deal with and progressive.
Their clients range from owner-managed and SME businesses to medium-sized companies, high net worth individuals and larger corporates. Andrew Farrell is the Head of Department as well as Office Managing Partner and Managing Partner Edward Smethurst works alongside Andrew and Trainee Solicitor Adam Woodley.
